ABOUT THE HOST:

Meg Biram grew up in Kansas City, Mo. surrounded by her extended family. Curious and artistic as a child, her parents supported her creative passions and enrolled her in art classes at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art at a young age. She continued her art education taking every class she could at school and from the local museums in the summers growing up. As a teen she developed an obsession with magazines. Nothing has changed there.

A graduate of the School of Journalism at the University of Missouri, Meg studied advertising and magazine journalism. After college, she worked as the design editor at The Observer Media Group, in Sarasota, Fla. Her next job – senior designer at Hallmark Cards – took her back to Kansas City, where she directed photo shoots and designed materials for the marketing communications team. After spending five years at Hallmark, she moved to Washington, D.C., where she started working as a full-time blogger, consultant, and artist.

Meg started her website in 2007 as a way to collect the inspiration she found online and share it with her friends (this was before the days of Pinterest!). In 2011 she turned the site into a business.

Meg currently lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband of twelve years and her dog Hemingway.

Meg has been featured or quoted in in The Washington Post, Washingtonian Magazine, Luxe Magazine, Rue Magazine, Oprah Magazine, WomensHealth.com, DC Modern Luxury Magazine, and the Washington Post Express. She was nominated for a Shorty Award, a Bloglovin Award, and named a Style Setter by Washingtonian Magazine.
