Planting Intentions: A Creative New Year Workshop

  • Steadfast Supply - Entrance on Water Street SE 301 Tingey Street Southeast Washington, DC, 20003 United States (map)

Join us for an intentional, hands-on workshop designed to help you slow down, reflect, and set meaningful intentions for the year ahead - sponsored by The Yards.

In this experience, guests will paint and personalize a terracotta planter using color, words, and textures that represent what they want to grow in the new year. Once your planter is complete, you’ll fill it with soil and plant a seed paired with a personal intention — turning your goal into something tangible, living, and worth tending.

This workshop blends creativity with reflection in a calm, welcoming setting. Rather than rushing to set resolutions, we’ll focus on planting something you can care for and return to over time.

No artistic or gardening experience is needed. Just come as you are.

You’ll leave with a hand-painted planter, a planted seed, and a grounded intention to nurture as the year unfolds.
