Have you always wanted to capture the wonder of the universe through art but are unsure where to start? Join Kolbie Blume, founder of Writing Desk Creative Co., at Steadfast Supply for an inspirational and educational day of exploring the basics of watercolor celestials, where she’ll teach you everything you need to know to create simple but stunning pieces.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: During this two-hour workshop, you will learn tips, tricks, and proven techniques for creating dazzling galaxies, nebulas, and moonscapes, as seen on Kolbie’s Instagram and Etsy shop, This Writing Desk.
WHAT YOU'LL MAKE: By the end of the class, you’ll walk away with one giftable 5x7 galaxy watercolor design and the knowledge and confidence you’ll need to keep creating and developing your own style for years to come.
WHAT'S PROVIDED: In addition to hands-on, personalized instruction from Kolbie and professional paint materials to use during the class, your investment includes:
a sample of the paint we use during the class to take home
watercolor paper to use during the session as well as some extra to take home

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Kolbie is a communications professional in the DC area who stumbled upon a passion for calligraphy, hand-lettering, and watercolor illustration after watching mesmerizing videos on Instagram during her lunch breaks. As founder of Writing Desk Creative Co., she specializes in watercolor illustration and calligraphy, ranging from wedding suites to commissioned pieces, as well as creative copywriting. She also utilizes her communications expertise to coach artists and creative entrepreneurs on effective social media strategy and compelling content creation. In addition to creating meaningful pieces for her clients, her main goal is to inspire those around her to find their own creative voice—because if she can learn how to art, anyone can.
