Your Workshop Breakdown
Here's what you can look forward to during our two-hour faux cake decorating experience:
6:00 PM - 6:15 PM: Welcome & Introductions Settle in, grab your complimentary refreshment, and meet your fellow crafters and instructor. We'll briefly go over the class plan and what sweet faux creations we'll achieve together.
6:15 PM - 7:15 PM: Laying the Foundation: Texturing Your "Frosting" Your skilled instructor will guide you step-by-step through applying your base "paint" with some delightful texture to the heart-shaped box. You'll master essential techniques for smooth coverage and creating that realistic faux cake "frosting" effect.
7:15 PM - 7:50 PM: Decadent Details & Embellishments With your textured base set, you'll dive into adding decorative details. Learn to create swirls, borders, and other intricate designs, and experiment with various "sprinkles" and embellishments to make your faux cake truly unique.
7:50 PM - 8:00 PM: Q&A, Sharing, & Wrap-Up We'll wrap up the class with time for questions, sharing your finished creations, and discussing tips for future faux cake projects at home. You'll leave with your beautifully decorated heart-shaped box!
