Get ready for a day of wagging tails and happy barks! Join us for a dog adoption event led by Rural Dog Rescue, where you can meet pups looking for their forever homes. 🐾
Come chat with Rural Dog Rescue’s team, learn about the adoption process, and meet dogs waiting for a loving home. Whether you’re looking for a playful pup or a cozy cuddle buddy, your new best friend may be waiting for you.
This event is free to attend and will be held outdoors, with an indoor backup location in case of inclement weather.
Dog Supply Donations Welcome
Steadfast Supply is also an ongoing drop-off location for Rural Dog Rescue donations. Guests are welcome to bring dog supplies to support the rescue and the pups in their care.
Accepted items include:
Unopened dog food and treats
New or gently used toys
New or gently used leashes and collars
Please note: We’re unable to accept blankets, bedding, medications, or opened food.
Every donation helps support dogs as they wait for their forever homes.

Based in Washington, DC, Rural Dog Rescue works with shelters in rural areas of Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. Its volunteer network helps with the transport, adoption, and ongoing care of dogs.
Adoptable dogs live in foster homes while waiting to find their forever homes. This gives the rescue a chance to learn more about each dog’s personality and needs—and helps create thoughtful matches between dogs and adopters.
