How to Stop Fighting Food?
Hosted by LiveWell
Join health educator & coach, Lina Salazar, founder of Live Well, on July 21st at Steadfast Supply for a workshop on why women fight food and their body and how to put an end to the crazy thoughts about calories and weight.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: This workshop is for women who have a tricky relationship with food and their body, and desire to end the tiring cycle of restriction/overeating. Join this session if you’re a woman who’s tired of feeling like food controls your life and know going on a diet is not the solution.
After this workshop, you’ll understand the main explanations to your fight with food and body and learn the three first steps you can take in your journey towards “food freedom”, that state in which you feel at ease in your own skin and are able to enjoy food with no regrets.
WHAT YOU'LL CREATE: We will hold two individual exercises. One will allow you to create your personal idea of what food freedom looks and feels like. With the second exercise you’ll be able to put in practice the three steps that will be explained during the session. You’ll gain awareness about your hunger cues and get tools to reconnect to your body and emotions.
WHAT YOU'LL LEAVE WITH: The workshop fee includes the materials for the individual exercises. You’ll also leave with a practical tool to help you continue reconnecting to your body/emotions on a daily basis. All attendees will receive 10% off any day-of Steadfast Supply purchase :)
